Here’s a little about Kathy’s background. She is a portrait photographer specializing in dog photography; an indie author of two books named “Cancer is Ruff” and “Online Dating is Ruff;” creator of her own line of doggy greeting cards; an inspirational speaker and a cancer survivor of Multiple Myeloma (23 years).

Kathy was born in the City of Brotherly Love, and moved to Virginia in 1995. She is a Mom and a Mom Mom.

She took all of her photography classes at Northern Virginia Community College. Her home studio is located in Leesburg, Virginia.

Kathy is a member of the Virginia Professional Photographers Association. She is also a member of  the Professional Photographers of America where she earned her Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees.

Her photo sessions are fun and memorable. Patience, props, praise, and parents are all she needs to create a beautiful portrait of your best friend. And you never know if she’ll find one expression of your dog that she’d like to add to her portfolio for a future card or book.
